So I painted what I actually saw: a cottage with a face (who calls himself Bob), a winding little path, cartoon‑like flowers, and soft drifting clouds. It became a playful, surreal landscape shaped by the unexpected textures of the print. Drypoint printmaking (in this form) involves inking the plate and gently wiping back the ink with a cloth to reveal shapes and tones before running it through the press. It creates soft, unpredictable marks that give the print its character.
